ARE you thinking of an inspiring holiday for 2014? Do you enjoy good food and have a passion for gardening and visiting wonderful gardens?

There is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a bespoke holiday in the Alpujarras region of Andalucía, in southern Spain.

Midhurst resident Jackie Kyte – who shot to fame in the Observer for her fire-
fighting antics with her family in Spain several weeks ago – is hosting a presentation to include a glass of wine and some food from the Alpujarras at the Memorial Hall in Graffham on Friday, October 4 at 7.30pm.

Self-sufficiency expert from the Alpujarras, Sue Rogers, (www.selfsufficiency4u.com) will be on hand to talk about her business and water management.

Jackie said: “This part of Spain is pretty much undiscovered and only 30km from Granada – home to the eighth wonder of the world, the Alhambra.

“The Gardens of the Alhambra, the Generalife, are on the itinerary along with some privately-owned gardens owned and
managed by the Spanish artistocracy.

“If all this sounds rather intriguing, why not come along and share some of the secrets of Las Alpujarras, sample some food and plan your holiday for 2014!”
