YOUNGSTERS in Midhurst and Stedham have helped brighten up hoardings on the town.

Construction firm Leadbitter have hoardings with a difference around their Grange centre development, thanks to the competition they ran with Stedham and Midhurst Primary Schools.

The schools were asked to design a poster for the hoarding of the new Midhurst Leisure Centre.

Dave Cook, regional director at Leadbitter, said: “Making a decision on the winning entries was extremely difficult due to the high standard achieved. We decided to award four prizes to each school.”

Prizes will be presented at the grand finale on Wednesday (July17).

Finalists will enjoy a picnic by the pond, while representatives from the Pond Group, the Environment Agency and other bodies will show pupils different aspects of wildlife in the area.
