A LAST minute charity scooter show was a success at the Grange.

The event, which was in aid of Chestnut Tree Hospice, raised more than £600, and saw about 300 people come along for the scooter show in the day and evening entertainment after.

Organisers Jamie Mace and Tony Sivyer, said: “We would like to thank everyone who made the J & T Custom Scooter Show a great success and very enjoyable day and evening.

“A massive thank you goes to The Grange manager Mike and his very hard working team of staff for pulling out all the stops and for all they have done to help this event go ahead at a week’s notice and run so smoothly.” The event showcased customised scooters, and the pair hope to run a similar day next year.
