ONE OF the youngest entrants in the Midhurst First Easter Quest competition, four-year-old Harry Tivnann, has been declared the winner.
And Harry, who attends Midhurst Nursery Class, received his prize in the shape of Bertie Bunny after his name was drawn from the list of correct entries by Geoff Allnutt, the West Street jeweller.
Harry took part in the competition to find out who had kidnapped the Midhurst Easter bunny and where he was being hidden, with friends from the Midhurst Nursery as part of the ‘wellie walk on Wednesdays’.
The competition was organised by Midhurst businesses involved in the Midhurst First loyalty scheme. One of the firms was KerryType at The Wharf, where Darren Clarke said: “Shops and businesses across Midhurst were over the moon at the response to their request for help in finding the missing Easter bunny.
“We really noticed the numbers of people walking and driving down The Wharf with their kids.”
