Bad news for Sussex hayfever sufferers

High pollen levels.
High pollen levels.

Hayfever sufferers face several days of very high pollen and spore count across Sussex.

For the rest of this week the Met Office forecast is for the count to remain at maximum, helped by a lack of rain and little wind.

On Saturday (June 20) there will be some minor relief as the level drops to just ‘high’.

UV levels will also be high across the county for the week, apart from tomorrow (Wednesday) when it drops to moderate.

Temperatures across the county are set to peak at the low 20s (degC) with the possibility of some showers overnight on Wednesday.
