The Dexam Trust is backing Midhurst Youth Trust with three grants of £5,000 over the next three years.

The youth trust runs the town’s state-of-the-art youth centre where trained youth workers lead activities. Chairman Colin Hughes said: “The club has considerable running costs. It does receive annual support from Midhurst Town Council, but in future there will be little help from the West Sussex Council. Donations like this are vital and we are extremely grateful.” Dexam is also engaged with Midhurst Rother College to build an amphitheatre at the youth trust’s camp site at Stedham. Bryony Dyer, managing director of Dexam, said: “Dexam has been a part of the community for many years and this is one way of showing commitment and support for it.”
