HISTORY will be coming alive at Bignor Roman Villa this weekend.
Visitors will be able to see gladiators in action, training and fighting, learn about Roman herbs and the influence of religion as historical re-enactors, Raven-Tor give their demonstrations throughout the weekend.
At the same time spectators will be able to walk through the world-class Roman remains and see the outstanding mosaic floors.
The villa was a working farm in Roman Britain and the surrounding land is still farmed by the Tupper family, descendants of George Tupper who discovered the site whilst ploughing in 1811.
Admission is £6 for adults, senior citizens and students £4.50, children £3.50.
