FUNDRAISERS are getting ready to don their boots for the annual Jack’s Sponsored Walk in aid of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal

The walk is a lasting tribute to the late Jack Holloway who died in 2011. A Burma Star veteran, he started the walk in 1998 and helped to raise more than £30,000 for the appeal.

It takes place on Saturday, October 3 and again has been organised by John Rosser, starting at 9.30am from The Badgers Inn, Coultershaw Bridge, near Petworth returning for lunch.
