Just how low can mankind stoop? - fly tipping on the South Downs Way

Just how low can mankind stoop? This is the question being asked by Elsted villager Richard Mockett after he came across this pile of junk, including an old bath, toilet and a children’s play house which was dumped on Tuesday, on the scenic South Downs Way above South Harting in the heart of the South Downs National Park.

“Anyone recognising the contents should contact the police or Chichester District Council. Let’s all do what we can to protect our wonderful countryside,” he implored.
