AN unusually large number of women turned up to a fitness class at Midhurst Rother College (MRC).

General manager of the Nuffield Health gym at MRC, Lauren Guidi, held a ‘Butlers in the Buff’ class in aid of Help for Heroes.

“Help for Heroes is a charity close to home for me,” said Lauren. “I have a lot of friends and family who have served or are currently serving in military in conflicts. My father and grandfather were in the Royal Marines and were my heroes growing up.

“I am so proud to call them family, knowing they put their life on the line to protect our country. I am willing to do whatever I can to raise money in order to help a family who have lost someone or suffered life changing wounds.”

Instructors, or ‘Butlers’, Matthew Knight, Oliver Bates, Joe Redding and Ryan Nicoll took the class semi-naked, with dozens of ladies in attendance.

“I know if anything happened to my family or friends I would be heartbroken. This is why I have chosen the charity and am passionate about organising events to help out wherever I can,” added Lauren. Her next event is a black tie ball on August 2 at the Royal Maritime Club in Portsmouth.
