A FERNHURST bed and breakfast is celebrating after receiving an impressive and highly sought after accolade at an awards ceremony.

Colliers Farm, the beautifully renovated Grade II listed 17th century farmhouse bed and breakfast, has won the silver award for Bed and Breakfast, Guest Accommodation of the Year at the recent Beautiful South Awards.

The awards, now in their 20th year, celebrate the very best the South East has to offer for all types of tourism businesses.

Colliers Farm, situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park, was sympathetically converted in 2009 from a working farm into a family home with exceptional bed and breakfast accommodation.

And with stunning decor, tennis courts and tea and homemade cakes for guests on arrival,
it’s easy to see why it won.

“We are thrilled to have won the Silver Award,” said owner Marina Shellard.

“We have only been up and running for four years so to have received this accolade is a huge achievement and a reflection of the passion and hard work that we have put into the bed and breakfast.”
