Crowds flock to Milland Rural Fair in blazing sunshine

FROM climbing walls and carousels to llamas, racing ferrets and sheepdogs herding geese - it was all on offer at Milland Rural Fair on Sunday.

And more than 4000 people flocked to the recreation ground in the village for the event as temperatures soared and the sun shone down.

It was the day Milland rolled up its sleeves and helped raise funds for village causes and there were more than 80 villagers manning stalls, organising a spectacular programme of main arena events and directing operations.
