Development plans to be decided at Chichester meeting

SEVERAL contentious planning applications will go before Chichester District Council today (January 8).

Amendments to planned retail park Barnfield Drive will go before the planning committee, for the site adjacent to Homebase in Chichester.

The Co-op’s application to demolish The Royal Oak in East Wittering and build a new supermarket is also on the agenda.

There is also an outline application for 25 homes near Follis Gardens, Fishbourne due to be decided.

Various applications have been submitted for traveller sites in West Ashling, which will come up at the meeting.

The meeting starts at 10am at The Council Chamber, in East Pallant House, Chichester.

The public are welcome to attend.
