A TOILET emergency saw firefighters called to Goodwood racecourse last night (July 30).
After the second day of Glorious Goodwood, things took an unfortunate turn for one man when the door jammed in a portable toilet he was using.
Someone dialled 999 and a rescue crew from Chichester was dispatched to rescue the hapless toilet goer.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed it was called around 8.45pm after the toilet’s door jammed.
The crew used ‘small tools’ to get the door open and the man was free by around 9pm.
