NOW in its fifth year, MADhurst has returned to the town with a bang.
Set to be bigger and better than ever, the festival will showcase the finest talent from around the area in a ten-day programme of music, arts, dance and drama.
Festival-goers have an eclectic mix of live events, food and fun to choose from, happening every day.
There will be something for the whole family, with many events running free of charge.
The big procession on August 25 will leave from Market Square and Church Hill, proceeding along Knockhundred Row, North Street, to the bus terminus, arriving at the showground at around 12.30pm with free entertainment from 1pm-8pm and a grand finale.
Music will be from Midhurst Musical Mayhem, Southdowns Ukulele Orchestra, Centre Stage Academy, Petworth Voices, The Stoned Crows, Rosie Hodgson, the Free Radicals and The Fug Band and dance from Wonder Girls Pom Pom Troupe, Midhurst School of Dance and Vikki G with her Zumba set.
There will also be lots of other entertainment going on all afternoon including Canine Partners Dog display and Bezerkaz Circus and High above the arena will be The Tiger Club’s Turbulent Air Display courtesy of Midhurst Lions. Charity stalls, games, rides, fantastic local food and drink, including a tea tent complete with cream tea.
