Horse rescued from ditch has to be put down

Firefighters used strops and lines to rescue a horse from a ditch on Friday (April 18) near Lurgashall.

A vet who attended the two-hour operation had to put down the horse after it had been removed from the ditch off Jobsons Lane, Dial Green.
