Keep the kids entertained over February half term in Petworth

Children playing in the Woodland Walk at The Vyne, Hampshire.

CELEBRATE the great British outdoors with the family this February half term, with events at Petworth Park and other National Trust locations.

If the children have been stuck indoors throughout winter, then February half term is the perfect opportunity for the whole family to get outside at beautiful National Trust locations.

Across the county, many National Trust places will also be hosting fun family events during half term week, including crafts, exciting challenges, storytelling and quiz-packed trails.

Kids and parents could also go on an outdoor adventure and try ticking off some of the trust’s ‘50 Things to do before you’re 11 ¾’ such as den building and kite flying.

At Petworth House and Park, climb through a giant picture frame, enter an art gallery, and add your pictures to the walls.

Then create a 3D self-portrait and create a sparkly picture frame to put it in.

In the Frame is suitable for five-11 year olds and will run from February 17-19, from 11am-12.30pm and 2pm-3.30pm.

Tickets for the workshop are the price of normal admission plus £5.

Booking is essential on 01798 342207.
