MIDHURST chiropractor Philippa McKernan has been awarded the prestigious Heale Award by the Royal College of Chiropractors at a ceremony in London.

The award is presented to the one outstanding post registration training (PRT) candidate selected by the college council from nominations made by PRT trainers and tutors.

Her PRT trainer Jonathan Field said: “Philippa joined Back2Health as a new graduate in 2012 and has had an exceptional first year as a chiropractor. Feedback from her patients speaks for itself, with 86 per cent saying they feel better and every one reporting being satisfied with a her treatment.

“Last year she was awarded a prize at the annual COP research conference in Oxford for research she conducted into expectations in back pain patients. As well as all this, Philippa found time to compete a post-graduate certificate in chiropractic professional development gaining a distinction.”

Philippa works from the Midhurst branch of the Back2Health Partnership where she sees patients with a range of conditions as well as headaches.
