THE former Backshalls Garage in Easebourne is getting set for a fresh start.

Neil Negus has injected a new lease of life into the Dodsley Lane site with his used-car sale business, which opened this week.

“I have lived in Midhurst for some years but my business was previously based in Ryarsh Kent, hence the name Ryarsh Cars,” said Neil.

“I always wanted the garage to be more local, but regrettably business premises were not available in the area until now.

“I really believed after Parkland Cars closed in North Street it would be good for the area to have a reliable local used car showroom. We will mainly be supplying good quality reasonable priced, hand-selected cars plus we will also seek a particular car to order. We have already supplied many cars to local people all of who are very happy with their purchase.

“We also will quote to purchase your car for cash.”

Neil also works with Nick Wheeler as vice chairman of the Midhurst Community Bus.

Ryarsh Cars will be open six days a week and on Sundays by appointment. Neil will also be able to offer specialised body repairs and servicing.
