TO compliment the ‘Constable at Petworth’ exhibition at Petworth House, one business will be hosting its very own exhibition and sale, ‘Connecting with Constable’.

Hodgson Events, which for the last 16 years has been based in Lodsworth, has now moved to their newly established Kevis House gallery in Petworth.

The historic Lombard Street building was the photographic studio of Victorian photographer Walter Kevis.

Husband and wife team Richard Hodgson and Lucy Russell run the business. Richard said: “We will be sad to leave Lodsworth but the new building will give us the room we need to expand.

“We’re looking forward to joining the vibrant business community here.”

The Kevis House Gallery’s first show, which opened yesterday (Saturday, January 11), will feature works by renowned artist John Constable, and artists he collaborated with or was associated with during his life.

“All of the prints we have for sale will be a lot cheaper than people may expect,” added Richard.
