THE Hamilton Arms pub in Stedham welcomed hundreds of people to a beer festival with a difference.
The pub hosted a beer, music and food festival with live music and displays of Thai dancing and martial arts.
The event raised money for local children’s charities.
“We had around 500 people come by over the course of the weekend,” said landlord Suhail Hussain.
Suhail and fellow proprietor Mudita Karnasuta hold fundraising events throughout the year to raise money for the Mudita Trust, a charity for children in Thailand.
“We have a beer festival every other year,” added Suhail.
“People get to try Thai and Asian street food, and enjoy Thai entertainments such as dancing and martial arts demonstrations.”
Carl Wallis also served up Lankin Manor Farm hog roast for everyone to feast on, while music was provided courtesy of local band, A Different Beat.
