THE largest coach operator in the country has treated Heyshott charity Canine Partners to a specially-commissioned bus.

As part of the ongoing partnership between National Express and Canine Partners, staff at the charity had a unique opportunity to welcome a specially-commissioned coach to their headquarters in Heyshott.

The coach, bearing the organisation’s trademark purple plus adorable images of its puppies, arrived at the training centre in the morning and was greeted by staff and dogs, as well as former Royal Marine Jon Flint and his canine partner Varick.

The partnership will benefit volunteers who look after the charity’s puppies for the first year of their training, making them eligible to travel free with their pup to and from any National Express stops across the UK.

This gives vital public transport training for the puppies, allowing them a chance to experience coach and bus travel at an early age.

National Express has also set up a Canine Partners’ donation tab on its website.
