THE fifth annual MADhurst music, arts and drama festival is under way in Midhurst and business has been brisk at the box office for tickets to a bumper crop of entertainment.

It kicked off with a pre-concert dinner at Picassos for those attending the Camilli String Quartet concert.

On Sunday (August 17), Sophie Bosley organised a Youth Zest concert in Market Square.

Monday saw a tea dance and Ragtime at the Ruins. There was a treasure hunt, film night and quiz, and yesterday it was Burlesque, Bangers and Beer at the Royal Oak.

All the while there’s a host of workshops to join.

Still to come is Gardeners’ Question Time, Cabaret Dinner featuring showstoppers from the silver screen, Milestone Collective Swing Band with Alistair Gibson and the carnival parade.
