Police are appealing for witnesses after jewellery thieves struck three times in a day in Midhurst

The first burglary was reported at St Johns Close when the owner returned home to find her conservatory door smashed and home searched on February 4. Jewellery including gold, diamond and ruby rings was missing.

A second was between 11am on February 4 and 11am on February 4 in Guillards Oak when watches, ornaments and a silver model of Concorde were stolen.

The third was in Guillards Oak between 3pm-7pm on February 4 when necklaces, earrings and a bracelet were taken.
