A UNIQUE exhibition of contemporary arts opening shortly promises to delve into some of the intriguing stories behind the National Trust mansion at South Harting.

Unravelling Uppark has been inspired by some of the weird and wonderful stories which surround the house, such as Emma Hamilton dancing naked on the dining room table, and the spooky servants’ tunnels being the trigger for HG Wells’ Gothic horror The Time Machine.

Open from May 4 to November 2, the exhibition is supported by Arts Council England.
