ARTISTS in the Lodsworth area are setting out their stall to support a new charity in the village.
They are preparing for the opening of their sixth annual art exhibition in Lodsworth’s Hollist Arms pub tomorrow (Saturday November 14).
The pub has, this year been taken over by Andrew Mills together with artist Patsy Moore.
And Patsy along with 17 other artists from the surrounding area, are opening their art exhibition upstairs at the pub.
It will be ready for viewing by the public from tomorrow and will be open every day until Sunday, November 22, from 11am-8pm daily.
As usual the artists will donate ten per cent of their sales to charity and this year they have chosen to support Lodsworth Local Care.
This is a new charity and the aim is to provide transport and drivers to take people, who would otherwise have difficulty, to their hospital, dental and clinic appointments.
Lodsworth Local Care also provide equipment which can be lent to villagers who are in need.
