POLICE have announced they will be taking no further action after a woman reported she was raped in Chichester city centre.

Sussex Police arrested a 32-year-old local man last summer after a 25-year-old woman said she was assaulted in the alleyway connecting East Street and Little London car park between 10pm and midnight on July 27.

However, this time he was told he was to be released from bail. Sussex Police said no further action was being taken with regards to this case.
