MIDHURST Museum is coming to life this month.

There will be a variety of displays in the Knockhundred Market museum. A local collector has taken over one of the display cabinets and on show will be a range of copper jugs and spoons.

Giving the display a navel theme, a set of hat bands is to be shown, one from the Royal Yacht Britannia. Also on show will be ash trays and a book of matches with a holder from the ship.

A pair of Pinky and Perky money boxes, along with a light with Top Cat, Yogi Bear and Deputy Dog will take visitors back to the sixties while children’s and lace irons will remind visitors of a time before electricity.
