Memorial held for bikers in Bury Hill

MOTORCYCLISTS killed in accidents in West Sussex have been remembered at a special event held at a popular gathering place by the Whiteways Lodge roundabout closed to the A29 at Bury Hill.

Fellow bikers gathered to reflect on the lives of those had who died while riding. Although they make up one per-cent of road traffic, bikers are involved in 20 per cent of accidents.

A Biker’s Prayer was read as part of the service led by the Minister at Bognor Regis Opengate Baptist Church, Graham Banks.
