Mental health and dementia awareness weeks marked in Midhurst


The start of Mental Health and Dementia Awareness weeks are being marked with a special event in Midhurst on Monday (May 16).

It will be held at the Memorial Hall in North Street and has been organised by Coastal West Sussex Mind.

There will be an art exhibition, short inspirational videos, as well as entertainment from supporters and friends, including Petworth Town Band, Kate and Hannah Cheshire, singer songwriters Ed and Ollie Goodale, and the ‘Midhurst Dance Class’.

Free drinks and nibbles will be provided.

Members of the public are invited to join in any of the activities.

They will run from 5pm- 8.30pm in the Memorial Hall at the bottom of North Street, next to the South Downs National Park headquarters.
