GIRLS from Midhurst Rother College’s Year 10 joined a University of Chichester conference involving top businesswomen from across the country, designed to encourage them to become the country’s next high-flyers.

Women executives and entrepreneurs at the top of their game from the world of business, including branding, media, retail, press and PR, travel and the police scientific support department, spoke to some 100 senior students from schools across West Sussex at the University’s Bognor Regis Campus, encouraging them to push themselves as far as their abilities would take them, study with purpose and aim for their dreams.

As part of the programme, members of the elite guest panel joined school groups so they could be quizzed about their roles, how they progressed through education and then climbed their professional ladder.

MRC student Erin Collins said: “What made the most impression was their passion for their businesses.”
