MIDHURST Rother College (MRC) has been awarded the Investors in People Gold standard.
The United Learning-sponsored academy, serving students from 11 to 18 years and employing more than 100 teaching and support members of staff, has origins going back to 1672.
It opened in its current form in 2009, replacing the former Midhurst Grammat School, and was the 15th academy to join United Learning.
The latest success at the newly-built £31m school, follows news last year that after a full Ofsted inspection, it was judged outstanding in every single category, including achievement, quality of teaching, behaviour and safety and leadership and management.
Investors in People is the UK’s leading accreditation for business improvement through people management, and provides a wealth of resources for businesses to innovate, improve and grow.
Paul Devoy, head of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Midhurst Rother College on their Gold standard.
“The accreditation is the sign of great people-management practice, and staff should be extremely proud.”
