PEOPLE who have experienced mental health challenges can find out more about free recovery courses at an open day in Chichester.

The Sussex Recovery College courses are free of charge and open to everyone across the county, designed to allow people to become experts of their self-care and recovery through education and learning.

An open day is taking place on Tuesday, April 28, at Chichester City Council, The Council House, North Street, between 12pm and 3pm. Information will be given about the courses, which are also open to supporters of those with mental health problems.

Lucy Locks, trust lead for Sussex Recovery College said: “We believe the Recovery College will increase the skills and knowledge of people in the community to manage their mental health and wellbeing.”

The summer courses run from May 14 until July 20 at campus sites including Chichester, Littlehampton and Bognor Regis.
