Pensioner dies in collision near Petworth
A pensioner has sadly died after the silver Ford Fiesta he was driving hit a tree near Petworth.
The collision occurred in Lavington Common East, between the A285 and the A272, at about 5.11pm on Saturday, August 20.
The victim – a 72-year-old man from Petworth – was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact [email protected] or call 101, quoting Operation Seaside.
