Petworth business starts fundraising challenge

A PETWORTH building suppliers has launched a new charity challenge with the aim of raising £50,000 for a good cause.

Chandlers Building Supplies will be raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis in as many ways possible. Rob Sadler, who is a sufferer, has been a Chandlers employee for 30 years this year. He will also be celebrate his 50th birthday in December which is a significant milestone as the average life expectancy of people who suffer with the condition is 35 years.

The company are embarking on the challenge in celebration of Rob’s long service to the company.

Richard Skinner, commercial director at Chandlers, said: “We are extremely proud supporters of our local community and have been involved with a number of different school projects over the past few years. Everyone at Chandlers has fully got behind the £50k challenge and we hope that our local schools will as well helping to ensure that this is something that the whole area can be proud of.”
