DOZENS turned out to the Harting Horticultural Show, held on a damp afternoon prior to the Grand National.
Spectators and competitors alike enjoyed the array of beautiful flower arrangements alongside fresh homemade produce, while entrants young and old stood and waited nervously as their hard work and dedication was put to the test.
In contrast to last year’s cold weather, the warm weather diminished the number of narcissi, but produced more spring flowers, while cookery classes were very well supported.
There was an abundance of plants and cakes for sale on the produce stall.
The Harting shows always have a warm atmosphere where people can enjoy chatting with a cup of tea and slice of homemade cake.
