Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Haslemere on Monday, September 7.

The property in Camelsdale Road was left unoccupied from 8:10am and it is believed access was gained through an unlocked patio door sometime between then and 4.50pm, police said.

A silver strap Rolex watch worth more than £6,000 was taken as well as two iPods, a mobile phone and cash including around 130 Euros as well as £50.

Police said in a statement that it follows two other burglaries in the area last month, one of which was in Marley Combe Road, Haslemere on Wednesday, August 19. The other was in Vann Road, Fernhurst on Tuesday, August 4.

In both cases, access to the properties was made during the day.

Cash and jewellery were taken from the home in Marley Combe Road whilst around 300 Euros and 80 US dollars was stolen from the house in Vann Road

Detective Constable Emma Fields said: “We would like to speak with anyone who may have seen something suspicious in Camelsdale Road, Haslemere during the day.

“We would also like to remind local residents to be extra vigilant and ensure their houses are secure.”
