Police appeal after driver is seriously injured at Petworth

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 49 year old man from Petersfield was seriously injured when his car collided with a tree near Petworth on Saturday (October 29).

The silver Vauxhall crashed close to the A272 junction with Kingspit Lane shortly after 11am.

Sergeant Peter Verney said: “We believe a light coloured Range Rover drove past the scene not long after the reported collision and could have seen something which would help our investigation.

“We would like to speak to the driver of that car and anyone else who may have seen what happened that morning.”

Witnesses can email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting Operation Bradwall.
