POLICE are searching for a man in connection with a series of house burglaries.

Christopher Heron, 22, whose last known address was in Cranleigh, Surrey, is described as white, 6ft 1in, with blue eyes, a tanned complexion, and brown hair, which is shorter on the sides than on top.

The 12 burglaries, during which silver and jewellery were stolen, happened across West Sussex during November last year.

Police are now releasing his photograph and description following a detailed investigation.

The burglaries happened in Cocking, Pulborough, Steyning, Midhurst and Petworth.

Detective Constable Della Squires said; “We believe Heron may still be in the Surrey or Sussex areas and we are asking anyone who may know where he is to contact us as soon as possible via 101 quoting Operation Bear.

“You can also call independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously via 0800 555 111.”
