There’s a treat in store for beer and music lovers coming up at Lodsworth.
THE Midhurst and Petworth area’s first ‘pop-up’ gig is being held at Langham Brewery tomorrow, February 9 from 7.30pm - 11pm when it will be possible to hear half a dozen local bands, groups and solo artists while enjoying very local beer, wine and cider all at brewery prices.
There will also be hot food in the form of beef roll with relish, ribs or a veggie option will fill the inner man.
Organisers Simon Goodale and Will Buchanan are delighted to have found an interesting venue to allow the good following of local bands to have the opportunity to hear them in comfort.
“We have created a musical buzz around the area in the past couple of years and now we can invite musicians and other acts to play to an appreciative audience,” said Simon.
The performers for this inaugural pop-up include The Mighty Floron, Will B and the Bikini Black Specials, Marco Frankland, Tobiah, Ben Copeman and the Glory Boys interspersed with the dazzling beat poets Geoff Alnutt ‘The Speech Painter’ and Audi Maserati.
Entry is free, but the seats are beer barrels so bring a cushion!
