Recognition for charity volunteers

Two members of the Billingshurst Macmillan Group attended a reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by the charity's patron HRH The Prince of Wales on Wednesday January 31.

Terri Ashpool and Pam Goldsmith were at the prestigious event on behalf of the Billingshurst group who have all have gone above and beyond in their volunteer role.

The event recognised and thanked exceptional volunteers for their life-changing contributions to helping people living with cancer.

It focused on the contribution these supporters have made, and celebrated the vital role volunteers play at Macmillan.

The Billingshurst Macmillan group has been going for 22 years and are proud to have raised over 1.2 million for local cancer support.
