STAFF and students at Seaford College in Duncton have beaten off competition from schools across the country to be crowned the winners of National Doodle Day.
The contest is organised to raise money for national charity Epilepsy Action.
Winning ‘doodler’ Eddie Gammon, 11, won a 3D stuffed figure custom-made to look like his drawing.
The school also won £250 to spend on equipment.
Seb Rees, headmaster at Seaford College Prep School, said: “This was a great result for Eddie, especially as it was the first time he had entered anything like this.”
Philippa Cartwright, fundraising events manager at Epilepsy Action, said: “We’d like to say a huge congratulations and thanks to everyone at Seaford College. We raised £22,135 this year – our biggest total to date.”
