STUDENTS at Midhurst Rother College thought they were seeing double when they turned up for school today (Friday, November 13) to support Children in Need.

They were confronted with the slightly scary sight of two Dr Joe Vitaglianos!

Students were invited to dress as their childhood hero and Jonty Kennedy came dressed as college principal Dr Vitagliano.

The real principal came face to face with his double as he welcomed students at the start of the day.

Other heroes ranged from Doctor Who and St George to Pippi Longstocking and Harry Potter.

Together with donations from a cake sale and a quiz the school looks set to raise more than £1,300 for Children in Need.

Elsewhere other pupils including Northchapel schoolchildren and staff also turned up as superheroes.
