PETWORTH florist Matthew Spriggs is continuing to raise money for good causes with his increasingly popular charity demonstrations.

At his most recent charity floral demonstration, the Spriggs team raised nearly £800 on the night for Petworth Cottage Nursing Home.

Matthew’s sister Samantha Spriggs said: “It was a great evening – I have never know the audience to be so quiet, as Matthew weaves foliages and flower together to make some wonderful arrangements for the home and a door garland with hellebore plants.”

This adds to the thousands the florist has already raised for charities across the area with their well-attended demonstrations.

In less than a year, Matthew and his team have raised nearly £5,000 for Help for Heroes, the Petworth Cottage Nursing Home, cancer charity CLIC Sargent, Pancreatic Cancer Action and the Royal British Legion.
