THEY say that manners maketh man and now they have also been responsible for awards for the Cowdray Heritage Trust in the shape of two accolades from the Campaign for Courtesy.

Both the volunteers and operations manager Heather Ongley have been presented with awards by the campaign.

“The Campaign for Courtesy is a UK-wide organisation which rewards individuals and businesses for their contribution to courtesy and politeness in society at large,” said Miss Ongley, “One of our volunteers, Rosemary Dabbs, is a member of the CFC, and she nominated both me as an individual, and the Cowdray Volunteers as a group, for awards due to the high level of customer service we provide, inherent in which is courtesy and politeness at all times.”
