GARDENS in all their forms will be celebrated at a three-day event starting tomorrow (Friday, June 7).
The Garden Show at Stansted Park, supporting CancerWise, promises to feature art, design and everything the visitor could want for their garden.
Now, it has become a firm favourite with local gardeners.
The family-friendly event will include the opportunity to buy plants and talk to specialist plantsmen and designers.
Expert advice will include plant doctors’ tips and interactive workshops – tips on growing and cooking vegetables and herbs, beating the bugs and slugs, soap making and metal forging.
The show also offers access to a range of garden accessories, sculpture, art and gifts. Visitors will have the chance to sample country foods and wines, explore Stansted’s parklands, watch birds of prey and get lost in the maze.
For children, there will be rides on the model railway, treasure hunts, magic workshops and snail races.
The show will be open from 10am to 5pm from tomorrow to Sunday. Tickets on the gate are £8 for adults, £6 for concessions, £3 for children, £20 for families and £5 for groups.
