The Queen presents Fittleworth villager with ‘Maundy money’

Fittleworth villager, 85 year old Anne Waters was one of 180 pensioners who was presented with ‘Maundy money’ by the Queen at the Maundy Thursday service in St George’s Chapel at Windsor.

Anne, who has lived in Fittleworth for 12 years, has been church warden at St Mary the Virgin Stopham for eight years and in charge of the interregnum there for the last two.
