Cowdray Farm Shop has teamed up with Chichester University for an event which will not only promote the business but also help students on their way to their degrees.

They are jointly planning a May Day Fayre which for the students represents their final-year project and will contribute towards their degree mark.

The fayre is set to take place on Saturday, May 5 at the farm shop and manager Fiona Hamilton-Fox is in the final stage of preparations with the six-strong team consisting of final-year event management students Jasmin Taylor, Daisy Dorme, Emma Marriott, Laura Read, Fiona Redford and Amie Saxon.

Jasmin explained: “We were kindly given this exciting project by Cowdray Farm Shop manager Fiona Hamilton-Fox and it is the equivalent of a dissertation that will determine the result of our degree. The concept was developed through the specifications given by the farm shop and the creative ideas that came from us, the students.
