Homes in the West Lavington and Harting areas were still without power at noon today (Monday October 28) after losing electricity at 2am in the height of the storm.
And at Pendean House, the nursing home for elderly people at West Lavington, generators were brought in to restore power.
At Stedham and Woolbeding the River Rother has burst its banks and the road at Stedham remained flooded this afternoon.
The fields either side of the Woolbeding Road are also flooded.
The A272 between Rogate and Peterfield remained partially blocked by a fallen tree but further along the road workmen had cleared the fallen tree across Trotton Bridge by midday.
And at Liphook the branch of a giant oak tree crashed into the road to Old Thorns during the storm blocking the road. Workmen have now cleared the way.
