VOLUNTEERS are collecting in Midhurst and Petworth during Red Cross Week until Saturday (May 12).
The funds raised during this week every year are used to help all those in need both in the UK and abroad, whether through major disasters or supporting vulnerable people in their homes.
The theme this year is ‘be one in a million’ and the goal is to raise £1m through collections and events taking place throughout the country.
Donations can also be made directly to the British Red Cross or at the Red Cross Centre, Market Square, Petworth for which the telephone number is 01798 343252.
Collectors will also be in the street on flag day, on Saturday, May 12.
